What is a Virus?

Why is mcafee spamkiller interferring with the shutdown operation of the computer? It is brings up a box saying this program needs to be ended. It also doesnt appear in my outlook email.

I have received the same problem with Mcafee When it is installed you need to install a patch before the virus gets in to you system I will bet it says NT authority/service Then it gives you a timer before it shutsdown When that happens you click on start run, then you will type "shutdown -a" Your computer will not shutdown Then report the problem when the windows appears
