Ever since that So Big virus came out in early October or so I have been unable to open any attachments that are sent to me. My computer was never actually infected (as far as I know.) I never opened an infected email and I also downloaded the patch on my computer just to make sure.

I've tried to access my email program through the control panel and within the email program itself; however I have been unable to locate a window that allows me to change information about attachments. Can someone help me find where this might be? Or do you know why I can't open attachments in my email program anymore?

Thanks for your help!

You didn't really specify which email program that you're using but i guess i'll just assume that you're using microsoft outlook First you go to the tools menu inside outlook, then options, next click on the security tab and the deselect the box that says "do not allow attachment to be saved or open that could potentially be a virus." If this is the program that you're using then you will be able to view attachments--Robert Outlaw
