This is for a friend actually. She's not sure when this happened exactly, but thinks it was after she upgraded NetZero to their high speed service. She uses IE 6.

Now, she can no longer type Russian in web site input boxes. It works everywhere else, but not there. You can copy and paste Russian into the boxes and it displays Russian. However, typing gets Latin characters though not what you type.

She can type Russian in the address bar. It so happens that my wife is also Russian and I have the same Win XP and IE and our computers are setup exactly the same as far as languages and fonts go. However, ours works.

HP says it's the ISP's problem. However, I downloaded a web page, disconnected from the internet, and I still couldn't type Russian in the boxes. So, I don't think it's a problem with the server as HP says.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

bruce webb
