What is your video card?

Atari recently sent me a free game called "Driver" & it loads well etc & appears to play OK. I say appears because the video graphics are so dark that I can barely see anything. I write to Atari & below is the answer I received -

"If you PC is unable to view the game Driver properly even after you have changed the brightness levels in the game you may need to adjust the brightness and gamma of your video card in video card properties.

Right click on the desktop and select properties and then advanced and then look for brightness controls of your video card. These will enable you to brighten the screen image."

I had indeed already adjusted the brightness levels in the game itself but this had not helped. I tried the next suggestion by them, right clicked on the desktop, selected properties, then advance but could NOT find the brightness control for the video card. I should add I have had this problem with one other game I purchased at one stage, I could not play it as it was too dark.

Can someone please tell me how I find this brightness control for my video card?

Many thanks to all

Shirley Scott
