What are the properties?

Internet Explorer Help screen appears voluntarily.

Can I disable Help untill I "call it up"?

If the mouse "hovers" momentarily- IE Help screen will appear.

Sometimes the Help and Support Center screen will appear.

I can hide Office Assistant the Task Pane when it appears in Word.

Haven't found a way to stop IE Help and Compaq MS XP Help and Support screen from appearing on its own!

Go to the properties for the support center find the option to that is enabled that is allowing it to run automatically disable it and you wont have any problems
