What is a reinstallation?

The sound on my computer does not work. I downloaded kazaa and then i was usuing it one day and realized that the kazaa volume seemed to control the volumme of the whole computer. i then must have had the volume all the way down when i uninstaleld kazaa b/c of other problems so now my volume dosent work at all, can u help me?

It seems that kazaa has eliminated your volume control if you reinstall it your volume will work fine even after you remove the program
