i dont know all the info about my computer, but recently it has really been messing up especially on the browser (internet explorer). I cleared cookies, files, and history and scanned for viruses multiple times. It has been getting progressively worse and more difficult to use. There is also this thing where once i close a window and the program has presumably ended it stays up and i have to 'wipe' it away or 'erase' it off the screen by moving another window across it, such at my AIM buddy list. My desktop icons also dissapear during this process, but reappear the instant i close out of my buddylist...maybe something partly to do with AIM?--probably not the whole problem though, because i've been having basic problems long before this with internet explorer randomly freezing and refusing to close. I would appreciate any help or advice you could give me. Thanks a lot!

Greg what you need to do is upgrade your OS because it seems that your OS now is now running compatible with your computer if thats not the problem then you going to basically need a new motherboard
