After recent surfing, found 3 website shortcuts on desktop and cannot delete (reappear after bootup, even though they were removed from "favorites" folder). They point to "http:// addresses. Ran spy-bot and nothing came up. Ran "System Mechanic" and no resolution. Ran Norton Virus scan... nothing.

One of these sites took over as my home page. Same issue if I reset home page... when I reboot, it defaults back to this site. How can these people take over PC's like this? How do I get them out of my computer?

I run Norton 2003 weekly and use Zone Alarm, plus spy-bot. What more can I do?

Please help.

Tom
