Can I change a new hard drive installed as drive F to drive C.

New hard drive was installed as letter F and I want to change it to C

This question was answered on December 1, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


You said a new hard drive was installed, you did not say whether the old one is still in place If so, the computer's hard drive is usually the C: where all system file are stored and should not be changed If you did replace the old with a new it should automatically be C.
