What is faulty pins?

i have a compaq presario with amd k-6. i have 192 mb RAM. i disconnected my monitor from the pc for a few minutes as i was rearranging my room. when i connected it back on and switched on the monitor, the monitor wouldn't come on. i mean the pc sounded like it was running fine but the monitor was blank. i tried to connect the monitor to another pc and it was running fine. i don't know if there is something wrong with the VGA . i have a built in graphics card.....please help......

It seems that the pins to your computer that goes to the monitor may be damaged check it and if it is replace it
