Every time I am on-line and an incoming call comes in my computer completely locks up and I have to press the reset button on the case to reboot. I have a Conexant v.92 HSFi modem, my ISP supports the v92 standard as well as modem-on-hold. I am using a Logitech Elite Duo wireless keyboard and mouse.

This happens even if I have not activated the NetWaiting software.

If I set the modem up to ingnore the call-waiting feature (*70), then there is no problem.

I have downloaded the latesest updates for the operating system, the Netwaiting software and the wireless keyboard/mouse combination.

Thank you for your help.

Try going to the dialup modem properties, it should be a setting for blocking incoming calls or call waiting You may also have two line call and this why you get hang up when someone calls Look to see at the modem settting even in advance to block incoming calls Call your Teleprovider to help of how to disable call waiting if you have one or incoming call since they are the expert on phone line at your local area.
