Installed a Dazzle video interface about a month ago. I've run the software and tutorials and every thing was still working fine.

Two days ago I lost the ability to use my E drive a DVD/CDROM and my F drive a CDRW.

The only error message I get is "Secondary IDE not recognised".

E and F do not appear in the control panel settings or the IRQ list at start up.

I used Go back and reset everything several steps backward no change.

What should I try next?

Is it hardware or software?

Sometimes installing new software that is not compatable with your computers operating system can cause a lot of problems that will effect your computer, some files get corrupted or completely wiped out Try System Restore and see if it will help correct this problem Go to the Start button and in the Start Menue click on Programs then Accessories then System Restore Just follow the instructions and this will help you restore your compture to and earlier time.
