tower comes on but is not booting, it booted before but i installed a fan and a cpu thermometer,

i'm running windows 2k pro and have amd 2600+xp, 80g hard drive 7200rpm, nvidia fx5600, and i dont know what kind of motherboard, i have 512ddr ram .........HELPPP plz..

The cpu is not seated properly on the socket, remove and reinstall the fan and the cpu.
