Unable to save my password for my gbronline or my hotmail accounts?

I am unable to save my password for my gbronline or my hotmail accounts -- on my previous internet provider, I had no difficulty with it or my hotmail passwords being saved, but when I switched to GBRonline, I can get online with my user name and password, but when I try to get my e-mail through Outlook Express, windows come up with my user name and they ask me to enter my password. I have done all the necessary checks, like going into tools and going to properties, etc. and then entering my password and checking remember my password, but it just does not stay. I contacted GBR and all they told me to do was what I had been doing already in Tools. I don't know what else to do with this, can you help?
