BIOS is maybe mess up, because as you know BIOS is the program that make the routine Check of hardware Like POST If your system hangs or stop and you are able to see in your monitor some text letter or characters then is could be the BIOS.

If you don't see nothing and your monitor lights is orange, but your computer light is green and blinking Then the problem is on either the memory or video card.

If you don't see nothing and you turn on your computer not even a letter when the light is green from the monitor than this is likely a video adapter problem, must replace it with a new one.

If you get to see a letter but in your monitor write down what you see and if it beep, how many does it beep.
