I had a new hard drive installed. Now says no audio hardware or soundcard available. It had a soundcard before the new hard drive was installed. What could have happened?

First you must go to the control panel, then system, then hardware, then device manager Find the sound and other audio divice section if you see any exclamation points there then there is a probem Go to windows update, since you're using windows xp it should be inside the same window as the contol panel but on the left hand side click on that and see if you can find a driver to solve your problem--Robert Outlaw
