How to find drivers for your computer parts?

i am trying to install windows 98 on my pc,i get a message saying there is no driver for my cdrom or the cdrom has been lock down

Well finding a driver can be done from many different places but the first try your windows 98 cd then go to the control panel on you computer, then system, hardware, then device manager find the cd rom then double click the cd rom then, go to driver, then update driver and do it from you cd, if possible If that doesn't work, connect to the internet and going to microsoft update Open internet explorer and then go to tools and then windows update go through the steps and then go to driver updates, if this doesn't work then go to www.drivers.com then put in the model of your cd-rom and find the driver--Robert Outlaw
