Computer will not fully start up. When you turn it on the keyboard, mouse, and monitor show no lights and do not respond. The computer is getting power as the fan kicks on. The computer makes a constant beeping noise. The lights above the DVD, CD R/W, and floppy drive do come on then go off. I have ensured that there are no disk in any of the drives. Computer was working fine and then just went off.

There are a coupke of things that could be wrong the constant beeping could be caused by your RAM if there is a problem with the RAM the motherboard lets you know by the beeping it could have some how came lose and just needs to be pushed all the way in.

another thing that could be wrong is the motherboard its self could be going bad

try to move the RAM make sure not to touch the conertors (gold pins)

if that does not work it might me your motherboard.
