The computer automatically makes everything in shift mode ?

For some reason when I am just browsing on my computer, the computer automatically makes everything in shift mode as if I was the holding down shift button when im not. Usually after a while it will just stop. I dont know how this happened. It could be spyware or a bug. Please help as this becomes very annoying .
