My thumbnails won't display anymore for mpeg files. After renaming and moving some files, the thumbnaisl won't view anymore. Some directories that apparently haven't been messed with still work ok I think because the thumbs.db file is still ok.

Problem with the thumbnails

As you know, thumbnails is a miniature version of an image that is often used for quick browsing through multiple images, and this program comes with the installation of windows operating system, and you said that you renamed and moved some files, maybe some of the fields you moved and renamed belong to the system, or they were related to, so I suggest you to do the following:

To reinstall Windows XP from within Windows XP, follow these steps:

1. Start your computer

2. Insert the Windows XP CD into your computer's CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive

3. On the Welcome to Microsoft Windows XP page that appears, click Install Windows XP

4. On the Welcome to Windows Setup page, click Upgrade (Recommended) in the Installation Type box (if it is not already selected), and then click Next

Warning: make sure you back up any important files in case of installation problems!
