How to get past keyboard error.

the puter stops during the boot up, right after the memory test...it says that no keyboard is present and stalls there....i can not get it past this

What you should try doing is make sure the keyboard connector is securely in the correct port ex not in mouse port If that doesn't work you may need a new keyboard Also check the keyboard port and make sure nothing is intefering with the connection.
