Under my device manager I am getting a yellow exclamation point by the System Resource Extension for PnP BIOS and the properties say that it is causing a resource conflict code 15. I am unable to change the memory settings in the device manager for this particular item. I have tried removing it and installing it again, but it always installs into the same memory spot which is conflicted. Sometimes my computer freezes up or errors out when I try to listen to music or get on the internet and I assume that this is the cause of it. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of that conflict?

Hmmn...when you try to listen to music or get on the Internet? Sound card has a resource (IRQ) problem with either your modem or NIC card Disable sound card in device manager and then try to go on the Internet (Vice-versa with modem or NIC card) If you can, then looks like the above is true Try to change the IRQ setting of the sound card or modem if possible or open your CPU and change sound card or modem to another PCI slot Sometimes PCI slots are fixed with certain resources

Or, if your sound card and modem or NIC card is integrated with your motherboard then your CPU BIOS has set the IRQs Go into CMOS (pressing DEL key while computer is booting up) and make sure your sound card, modem, or NIC aren't using the same Interrupt ReQuest.
