Q: me and my mate put a different harddrive into his computer by unplugging his and plugging in the new one. Now that we have put his back on sometimes when you start the computer it gets to the screen where the log on stuff comes up but it siad it keeps loading but nothing happens. WHY?

A: You removed the harddrive that had the Operating System on it, meaning Windows. You will have to install A windows OS onto the new hard drive.
