I have an IBM Thinkpad, it only had 64 MB of Ram and I thought maybe if i got more memory (which i did, another 128MB) that it would speed up. Over the past few months it seems to have gotten slower and slower. I checked for viruses with AVG and it said it detected none. Even when i am not online my computer is still slow and will crash when i try to use a program like PhotoImpressions to download pics from my cam. I have run ScanDisk, which detected no errors, and when I try to Defrag I can only get up to 10% and then it just gets stuck there. I cancel and try again and the same thing happens. Do you have any advice? Thank you.

Sincerely Fustrated,

Tammy

WHAT ONE COULD DO, IS TO DELETE UNUSED AND REDUDNDANT PROGRAMS, TO FREE UP SYSTEM RESOURCES, AND DELETE THE COOKIES AND TEMP FILES GENERATED BY INTERNET USAGE THIS WAY THERE IS A LARGER PARTITION TO USE IN THE HARD DRIVE FOR SWAP SPACE.
