What does UOL mean under user name in Dial-up Settings ?

What does "UOL User" mean under tools, internet options, accounts, connections, setting, user mean? Since my email is all fouled up, since this be my user name?

It means the name that is assigned to you depending on your Internet Service Provider, whether it be DSL or Cable Connection, to dial into the World Wide Web.
