When i am playing music and i open internet explorer or some other app?

when i am playing music and i open internet explorer or some other app. the music goes very slow/crackly/jumpy but then when its loaded it smooths out. The music used to jump at 1 second intervals but i resolved this by reinstalling the drivers. Also, although i fixed the music jumping, the graphics still jump at 1 sec intervals. It is not a huge problem but it also happens when you play a game and it is very annoying. could you tell me how to fix this?

You may need more memory on your computer The loading of another application is using memory so it will take it away from the application running the music program.
