Why does my monitor screen go blank when i play hh o4' baseball.

when starting high heat 2004 baseball pc game from 3DO (out of business) my monitor goes blank and it says out of range so all i hear is the sound no picture (KDS visual sensations monitor)

Since you still hear sound, the computer itself is still active the resolution onscreen is probably out of range, check your monitor settings and configure appropriately.
