Drive problems

Hi, i have a problem with my computer, I currently have a C Drive and a D drive as hard drives. And a CD/DVD player and a CD burner. I turned it on today and noticed that my D drive doesnt work. It says that its not attached and its the same thing with my CD drive, it does not appear in My Computer. I looked inside to check whta the problem could be but my limeted knoledge couldn't find anything that could casue the problem. Any help wuld be appreciated.

Make sure your ide cable is connected properly to the drive it may be loose.Then restart your

computer.
