Lately when I open windows explorer, I don't get the divided window. How do I correct this?

Also when I open the recycle bin or my documents, the window is 1/4 the size that it should be. I can click to maximize the window but I don't want to have to do that everytime. Both of these problems are very recent. Thanks for any help you can give. Charles

Open Window's Explorer, and on the Menu bar, click on "View".

In the drop-down box, click on "Explore Bar" and then choose "Folders".

This will give you the divided window.

As for opening the recycling bin or my documents: Open either of them, then place the mouse

cursor at the edge of the top of the window until the cursor changes to a double sided arrow.

When that happens, drag the arrow upward and it will expand the application window.

Once this is done you should not have to do it again or have to click maximize every time you

open that application.
