Gray shadow line running on my screen

i have gray shadow lines running through the monitor i.e. each line of text has a gray shadow extending the width of the monitor. a connected a different monitor and have the same results.

Since you have changed your monitor and that didn't solve the problem, it can be your video card is not working properly and needs to be changed You can also use another outlet to connect the monitor and see if that helps.
