Unable to hear my speakers after installing windows 95, why?

When I had windows 98 on my computer the sound coming to my computer speakers was ok, Now that I installed windows95 I can`t hear my cdplayer from my speakers, only from my earphone jack on mycd player. Need help thanks a lot.........................

This sounds like a sound card driver issue Because you went from 98 to 95, the driver may not be compatible Check with the manufacturer of the sound card about getting the 95 driver or you might want to check on Microsofts own website about hardware compatiblity.
