I can not send e-mail I keep getting error No. 0x800CCC0F, have checked with my isp all my settings are correct for e-mail, can receive e-mail, can browse the net no problem, just can't send. Have uninstalled my firewall, have done a hard drive wipe (took 7 hours) reinstalled XP home, did all the updates and it's exactly the same

Any suggestions please.

This error message occurs when Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express cannot establish a connection with your e-mail server

use one of the following methods as appropriate for your situation:

1 For information about the correct settings for your e-mail server, contact your Internet service provider (ISP).

2 Configure your firewall software to grant access to the Internet for the following files:

For Outlook Express: Msimn.exe

For Outlook: Outlook.exe

I am not sure if you are using Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express .
