In the past month, I have had to reformat and reload my programs 2 times to my hard drive. Each time before that happened I recieved an error message that windows would not load and was being stopped for the safety of the computer.

I could get it to start in safe mode but it would lock up when going to the help and support screen.

I was able to restore each time to an earlier version, but that only lasted several days before I recieved the error.

The last time I reloaded all my programs and it seemed to be working alright uintil this morning when it took 3 times for the computer to boot up.

Could this be an indication of Hard Drive failure?

I am also running Norton System works for the past 3 years with no problems.

Well it seems you me you are doing everything correctly reformating is a good idea but these problems shouldnt be continuing unless there is something wrong with your hard drive call the manufactuer ask them if they cant help you must have your computer checked by a professional at a computer repair shop or by someone you know who is great with fixing computers some parts might need replaceing or fixing
