from win98 boot disk i get

"device driver not found , aborting installation"

"no valid device drivers selected"

I have tried to boot to cd-rom

Have tryed 3 different start up disks and 2 different cd-rom's.

This question was answered on March 2, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


You may want to open your PC and check to make sure that your CD-rom drive is connected to the motherboard, also make sure that all the connections are securly fastened, sometimes the cables are not pushed all the way in I that does not solve your problem you may want to look into replacing the drive.
