WHEN I TURN ON COMPUTER CLICKS AND SAYS NO OPERATING SYSTEM . ALL DOS

PROMPTS, AND HELP SCREEN COME UP. TRIED SYSTEM DISK, AND RESTORE DISKS.

COULD THE HARDDRIVE BE GONE.

It is possible that your master boot record may be corrupt, in which case you may need to reformat your Hard drive If reformating the hard drive does not work then it may be possible that your hard drive has gone bad.
