Cannot reconize the D drive.

I am trying to reformat my comp. my D drive wont recognize any cd . the start up floppy disk loads and says my drive is E and it cant read it. I dont have an e drive. the windows re-installation disk is in the D drive.

When I put a different disk in the drive it says put disk in drive. I think I deleted to much in trying to get rid of errors i was having and I have only one back up poin and restore says it cant be restored to that date.

I am not sure if you have two partition on your computer, but if you do have it, then your cd drive will become the E drive If your CD Drive is not working, you need to uninstall and reinstall the driver for the CD drive and reboot your computer and see if that works.
