How can I change my daughter Internet Explorer to Netscape Navigator or Myie2? She is having so many popups or whatever they are on IE that she can\'t even use the computer to surf the web. The ads or whatever cover the entire screen and when she deletes one; two or three more pop up. Most are porn sites too. It seems they have taken over her computer and left it useless. I\'m trying to help her get it cleaned up; with little success so far. I\'ve installed Spybot and she has Norton AV professional addition; and Stiker which were all recommended to me by someone on either this site of allexperts. Nothing seems to help that much although when I installed Spybot on her computer last evening and ran the Search and Destroy (S&D) option and it listed several things that could very well be causing the problems, but I was to unsure of myself to remove them (from her registery) I believe. I was also in a bit of a hurry and that didn\'t help any. Can I backup the registry on her compaq presario computer running windows 98se? Also, her CD-ROM didn\'t recognize my CD when I tried to run it to run some programs that I had downloaded to a CD to install on her computer but I had to downlaod them all again instead.

All you have to do, is download either Netscape Navigator, or MYIE2, and after you finish dowloading them, they should give you the option to make either one the default browser for your internet connection You select whichever you want to make your default browser.

Hope that helps.
