How can I manually manage my recycle bin?

My recycle bin empties each day without me doing it. How can I get back to empting only when and what I want.Thank you R.Hodson

Right click on the Recycle Bin incon on your desktop.

Click on Explore and a Recycle Bin dialog box will open.

Click on File on the menu bar and choose properties.

You will a dialog box called "Rcycle Bin Properties" appear The 1st tab says "Global".

In that tab area, make sure that there is NO check mark in the box that says "Do not

move files to Recycle Bin Remove files immediately when deleted".

Then click apply and ok, and this should prevent the recycle bin from emptying on its own.
