I tried installing my new Audigy sound card. I removed the old one and plugged the new one in. When I tried to restart my computer, it just started to make long beeps without stopping and nothing would work (monitor, keyboard, etc.) The green light comes on but nothing happens. I tried re-plugging the old sound card back in but it behaves in the same manner. I am sure not to have touched anything else in the computer... Any ides what could be causing this?

You must check your computer devices inside the case, and be sure all device are connected in the correct way, then try turning up you computer, if the problem go on, you must change your motherboard, because you put it on circuit when you installed the sound card.
