I'm about to purchase a new Gateway computer with XP. How can I transer my old Outlook and Outlook Express emails from my old Windows 98 computer on to my new XP machine? Can I do it in a way so that the old emails appear in my new mailbox?

On the new computer, create a disk that contains the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard, by

clicking on Start, go to All Programs, go to Accessories, System Tools, then click on Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.

The wizard opens, click next, the window changes, then select "new computer", then click next.

On the next screen, choose "I want to create a Wizard Disk in the following drive:"

Slect which drive you want to create the disk in, whether the A drive for floppy disk or the D drive for CD.

Once disk has been created, go to "old computer", insert created wizard disk, launch wizard, and retrieve the files and settings

Then return to the "new computer" and choose to put the information on the new computer.
