Why is my monitor turning off after a couple of seconds.

When I go to power up my system the tower will power up and make beeping sounds.

the monitor will turn on then turn off after about a couple seconds. I have replaced the power cords already. What else can I do? Thank you for your help.

You may not have enough video RAM or your resolution may not be compatible Check the control panel, display, then settings tab, change your resolution here.
