Originally my computer came with Win98, it ran fine. Then i decided to upgrade to XP. When I did that, my computer ran good for a while until it started to blue screen randomly. It gave error messages like "Physical memory dump" and things like that. I thought I had the blasterworm or something similar, but i reinstalled everything and made sure i didn't get a virus. It still blue screens. I changed the power supply and the computer was a little bit better, but still randomly crashing. I was wondering if I should buy a real good power supply or should I move on to troubleshoot in other areas?

YES, IT'S PROBABLY NOT THE POWER SUPPLY, IF ANYTHING, CHECK TO SEE THAT THE PROPER VIDEO DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED, AND ARE ON THE PROPER DMA CHANNELS ALSO, CHECK AND SEE IF THE RAM IS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.
