What are video drivers?

i have win98 on my system with display card intel 810e and i have set it on

(16bit color).

so when i want to open "exe" file or "image" file then system reboot.

if i set display card to (16 color) it work properly

but i want high color

so i want ur help

please reply soon

On the outside of your monitor sits buttons that are used to help adjust the monitor and properties; it should say menu; click once and it brings you into the varies settings that you could use to fine-tune the color(see documentation from monitor for assistance)

in windows remove and install the video drivers

Exchange the video cards

If the monitor is inexpensive, try a higher-quality monitor to determine whether the image is affected

Add more video RAM; 2, 4, or 8 MB may be required for higher resolution

Less expensive monitors and video cards don't use quality components, which can cause poor a quality display Try a qualilty monitor to determine if the image is affected.
