My computer keeps freezing when surfing the net.

Just got a computer from a friend. It keeps freezing up when surfing the net. I have defragged, worked on my resources; am running 58-70%, have deleted cookies. What else can I do?

The cause may be the website, you not have all the cookies to support that site if you have problems using that particular site, try to avoid that site and while access site open only one or two at a time and close any other programmes that you may have running.
