Installed new SONY DVD-ROM drive (slave on IDE Secondary)..Put CD=RW drive as master on IDE Secondary. IDE Primary is 6GB harddive... Audio from commercial music disk plays normal stereo on the sound system (AWE) with or without the audio cable from CD to Sound Card?

There is no audio on the headphone jack for either ROM drive...Headphones test good on central stereo system. Both drives are recognized at startup and in the system divices. This is driving me crazy.....
