Windows will not load. The initial loading screen comes up, but the computer keeps cycling thru trying to load the desktop, but it never gets there. Instead I get this: "While initializing VRD" and "Windows protect". That's all. Sometimes it comes up "While initializing VKD" but I've checked and it is not keyboard related. Also, I have the same probs trying to load Windows in Safe Mode. That's it. What can I do?

Try performing a cold boot which is turning on the computer from an off position Or boot from a good system floppy disk If you access the A prompt, type C: to access the hard drive, if you get the C: then you have a Operating System problem.
