Is it cold in here, why my computer keeps frezing?

Every program that I use (IE, Micorsoft Money, Weatherbug) all freeze and lock up, and I am force to end program now. I can't even type an e-mail address in before it locks up and quits responding. I have no clue on what to do, if it was internet explorer, I would not care as much, but it is my whole entire computer that is freezing up. Well, not my whole computer freezes up, just that one program freezes. PLease help me, I do not know what to do.

Here is some things you can check on If the computer just started to have this problem recently then try uninstalling and reinstalling the programs recently installed on the computer Also you may want to run an anti-virus program to make sure that it is not a virus that you picked up It may be as simple as increasing the amount of memory (RAM) in your machine Lastly it maybe that you may have to run some disk ultility program (Scandisk, etc.) Other than that I would need more info Hope this helps.
