I recently had some upgrades done on my computer from the same shop that built it. I noticed that it is now slow to load programs, slow internet connection, and basicaly slow at everything.

After getting a checkup at PC Pitsop, It told me that I had a Celeron Processor.

The Motherboard is a Mainboard P4 , this is what is listed on the box;

P4S5A/DX

Form Factor: FullATX

Chipset: SIS645DX/SIS962L

VGA/Audio:No/Yes

Modem/LAN:No/Yes

DIMM/DDR:2/2

ISA/PCI/AGP/AMR:0/5/1/1

Is the Celeron Processor causing the slow working of my computer?

The shop owner had just fired a worker for stealing from him. I think this same worker upgraded my computer and may have placed the Celeron in it and kept the P4 that I thought paid for and thought I was getting, and stuck it in his pocket.

I just want to know if the Celeron is my problem before taking back to the shop.

This might be the problem, but just make sure when you buy new hardware to checkwith your pc manufacturer to see what harware gives the best performance on your pc
