I am hearing voices coming out of my computer that sounds like interference. There is also a sound emitted that sounds like a modem dialing. I am not joking, this is serious! There is nothing wireless on this computer, but it sounds like it is picking up radio waves. Do you have any ideas as to what this problem is?

Without further description, I can only give you possible causes instead of a definite answer First, try to disconnect the phone line from the modem and connect the phone line to a telephone, if you here similiar noises, then you have crosstalk interference on your phone line and you call the local land-line (phone) company to have it fixed If that does it work try disconnecting the power from the computer and check for any noises If there is a change, then the interferce is in your home's wiring and you should contact an electrician If that not the problem then I will further details to help you Hope this helps.
