We have a 2nd computer for the children working off of a router. All works fine except that cannot access Hotmail, which is where they have their e-mail accounts.
On the main computer(with Router) we can access Hotmail and on the 2nd computer accessing the internet is not a problem, aol, yahoo and websites are no problem, only hotmail.
When you type in www.hotmail.com it automatically goes to a MSN page that talks about .NET passport. When you type in name and password, it comes back with not being registered or password is wrong. When you click to register with .NET pasport "get one now", you are diverted and arrive at a website called "perfectnav.com"
This computer is armed with Norton Anti-Virus, but I do not believe that this is part of the problem
Thank you for your help with this matter,
S Grant

I have the same problem when accessing a hotmail account from my school network, so far the noly workaround to resolving this was to download Mozilla browser from: http://www.mozilla.org/ using this browser will allow you to access the hotmail accoun with no problem.
